About Us

Alasdair Greig, Investment Manager

Alasdair joined the company as the Investment Manager for the Co-Investment Fund. He is responsible for originating and executing new transactions, as well as the monitoring and development of the Fund’s portfolio.

Prior to joining NorthStar Equity, Alasdair spent four years with The Cambridge Gateway Fund, a £35m early stage technology and life sciences fund, based in Cambridge, UK. At Cambridge Gateway, Alasdair was responsible for the Fund’s technology investments, which focused primarily on the data storage, networking and wireless infrastructure markets.

Before moving into the venture capital market, Alasdair spent nine years in risk management, primarily in the Investment Banking industry, culminating in a position managing the Emerging Markets Credit Risk function at CIBC World Markets Plc.

Alasdair holds an MBA from Ashridge and a BA (Hons) from Heriot Watt University.
